Established in the year 2014, the Department of Computer Science at Mata Gujri Khalsa College, Kartarpur offers a range of undergraduate courses. Our programs include the one-year Diploma in Computer Application(DCA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) introduced in the academic year 2014, and the Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) program, which began in 2014. Courses such as B.C.A., B.A., B.Sc. (Computer Application/Computer Science), and PGDCA follow a semester system. Additionally, we actively participate in offering computer science education in collaboration with other departments, including B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. Beyond these core programs, our department initiated We have also introduced a certificate level course Digital-Marketing under the Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala. Our department boasts well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art computer hardware and software. Internet facilities are available for both staff and students, enabling them to access valuable information and explore subject-related concepts in depth. The department is outfitted with the latest teaching aids and equipment, including multimedia projectors, smart classrooms, and Smart Screen and ICT Labs. We regularly organize assignments, group discussions, seminars, and presentations to enhance the learning experience.
