At present Music (Vocal) subject is offered to the students as an elective subject in UG course. There is one lecturer in the department Dr. Guriqbal Singh is head of department and he has been working at the college since 2019 He is a M.A. M. Phil. Ph.D (Music Vocal) and ‘Visharad’ Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh. He is specialized in classical vocal, Semi classical, Gurbani Kirtan etc work. Department’s aim is to give them not only the bookish knowledge but also to make them good citizens so that they can contribute to the development of nation. To provide quality Music education to the economically and socially backward people of Kandi area. To preserve the great ethics and culture of India and Punjab.
